Have you ever heard of Free Pie Day?
We are not talking a math day here, as in "pi". We're talking real pie.
Sweet and Savory pies. Apple pie - pumpkin pie - fudge pie - chicken
pot pie. Preferably, home-made pie or, at least, made from scratch.
Restaurants,
cafes, diners, meat and threes, country groceries, coffee houses,
sandwich shops. Dining establishments that set aside one day - Free Pie Day - to say to their customers and friends, "You are special. I appreciate you. Your business is important to me."
And, on that one day, all people who walk through the door receive a
complimentary piece of pie with their meal. What could be better than
that?
